Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Alpharetta Concert reviews
STYX and REO do it again!
"This time they brought a triple bill with .38 Special. It was the last show of 40 dates for the 3. You couldn't miss anything, was even hard to run to the concession during this one. If you missed them or haven't seen any of them, they are all worth your time and dollar. .38 Special came out rockin into the night and kept chuckin out hits until all of Mannheim Steamroller Christmas and STYX' members came walking out across the stage to join them. They had just finished a medley of hits since they were limited on time. Kevin Cronin and Tommy Shaw were there to help Don Barnes with caught up in you. Then STYX came out and was anticipating what it would be like without Dennis DeYoung, and low and behold, he really wasn't missed. Lawrence Gowan filled in tremendously knocking out such hits as the grand illusion and come sail away and even made us want more with a cover of the Beatles i am the walrus before Tommy finished up with renegade. So when you thought you had had enough, here comes Mannheim Steamroller Christmas, just knocking out hit after hit after hit. A tremendous show, tons of talent, glad I didn't miss it!"
